In 2017, The Winfrey Firm represented Mr. William Moss in a 10M lawsuit against his former employer; Grinder Inc. Moss claimed he was the victim of racism and harassment at work and that his supervisors did nothing to stop it.

In the lawsuit, Moss alleged that employees at Grinder Inc. would often make racist comments to him, including asking him to divorce his white wife. He also claimed that he found a Ku Klux Klan doll sitting on top of his lunchbox one day and that two employees did a Nazi salute over a burning cross.

When Moss notified his supervisor about the harassment, he was allegedly told, “they’re just joking, go back to work.” He was eventually fired a week after telling his supervisor about the burning cross incident.

The Winfrey Firm successfully represented Moss in court, and he was awarded damages for his suffering. This case is an example of The Winfrey Firm’s commitment to protecting the rights of employees who have been the victims of workplace discrimination and harassment.
